Message I was at the local Barnes&Noble book store yesterday and saw this big book on the clearence shelf. The name of it Im not sure of but it was something along the lines of "history of the sports car". I like to thumb through books like this to see what they say about the z32. I thumb to the "90s" section. Nothing on the Z at all. Huh? Then I thought that the 90 model came out in 89 so it might be in the "80s" section. Most cars in this book have there own two page spread with very large pictures. I finaly see a pic of the Z32 but very small and in a highlighted box off to the side of a page of another car. It spoke of horrible things about the Z! I will try to note them as I remember them ...

"The 1989-1996 Nissan 300ZX is anything but a sports car. Nissans failing attempt to create a sports car to outperform the rival Toyota Supra, was such an embarassing investment, with the overwieght body, unstable handeling, weak power(with the turbo model only making 222hp), and the looks only a mother could love, that Nissan finaly cut off production of the Z line in order to re-gain a positive profile in the automotive industry."

I almost burned that Fucking book! Seriously, WTF! 99% of that whole clip was wrong! The only thing they got right was the manufacturer's name, and the last production year. No wonder the friggin book was on clearence.
